Retreat FAQ

Which meeting space will be available to our group?

Each group is assigned their own designated meeting space.  Meeting spaces are assigned based on group size and the needs of the group.  If you would like to request a particular room, please contact our office.  We will work to accommodate these requests as much as possible.

Will there be other groups onsite with us?

Depending on group size, Longridge often hosts multiple groups on our property.  Groups that would like to reserve for exclusive use will need to guarantee at least 100 people for each night.

If there are other groups onsite, how will this affect my group’s retreat?

Longridge works to ensure that each lodging and meeting space is reserved for one group at a time.  These spaces will be yours for the entirety of your retreat.  Staff facilitated activities such as our Ropes Courses, Paintball, and Climbing Wall are also reserved for one group at a time.  Multiple groups may eat together or be at the Lakefront together, particularly during afternoon times.

Do we need to bring medical staff with us?

There is an EMT that is typically on-site to help in emergencies while groups are with us.  However, groups should bring appropriate staff and resources to handle any needs of the group.

How far in advance should I make a reservation?

Depending on the time of year and the flexibility of your dates, you should make reservations 3-12 months before the event.  Summer dates typically book 1 year in advance.

Is there anyone to help me if I need assistance during the retreat?

Longridge staff are on-site at all times day or night, when groups are present. You will be given information on where to locate our staff upon arrival.

Will I be able to use my cell phone while at Longridge?

Cell phone service is very spotty on the property.  Most people can get service somewhere on the property but group leaders should not rely on this as a method for incoming calls.  The group leader is welcome to use the phone in the office if needed.  There is also a payphone located at the lodge.

Do you rent Golf Carts?

We do not rent golf carts.  However, there is a local rental company that does rent them and will deliver to our site.  Please contact our office for rental information.
