Howdy everyone i’m James Newton and im from Indian Trail,NC. I’ll be a sophmore in college @ CPCC and this is my first summer on staff at camp.
So today at camp we started our day out with our awsome breakfast eggs, bacon, and oatmeal…..yummmm. From there we had quiet times with our cabins then we headed to team tables to go play some fun games on the hill like human fooseball, wacky ball, waterballon toss and sack race. From the hill we headed to our cabins to pick up our bibles for morning worship where we sang songs and had a bible drill. Next all the campers headed over to the canteen and gift shop where they can buy candy, drinks, shirts bags, etc. After canteen the campers headed back to thier team rooms where they had a bible study where they learned about God. So after this busy morning we headed over to the dining hall where the kids had roast beef sandwhiches and cookies, also during lunch some campers recived mail from there family. After lunch all the campers went to thier cabins where they changed into there bathing suit and went to play some more peanut patch games. Then after peanut patch was the ever famous SHAVING CREAM FIGHT….. Staff and leaders vs. ALL the kids………….staff and leaders never lose. From there we all walked down to the lake to rinse our selfs off , while at the lake the kids enjoyed the blob, the slide, canoes, and the zipline. After lake time we all headed back to our cabins to get changed for dinner where we had bar-b-que chicken. then after dinner everybody headed over to thechapel for worship service where frank spoke and we sang songs. Then the kids got a chance to come thru the line to hug all the staffers. So now it was time for a second canteen break and the championship volleyball game… blue ended up winning… After all this awsome fun we had today it was time to go to the dining hall where we had ice cream with all the campers. Well it was a jammed packed day hope to see yall at camp… bye
