WOW!! What a day.

          Well we started the day off with a great breakfast. After that we went with our cabins to have a quite time. Then it was on to the chapel for Sonrise Worship. The lesson today was on the Ressurrection of Jesus  There we had songs that got us into the heart of worship.  We also had the Bible drill championship round. It was amazing to see how well the students move around the Bible and how well they know the books of the Bible. then they went up to their team room and learned more on the topic for the Sonrise service.

           After that we had a little canten break. Then it was on to the games on the hill. It started off with the greased pole that had 20 dollars taped to the top. It was so funny to see everyone try their best to get up the pole and get the money. When we got done there, we went over to the big mud pit. There was a lot of tug-of-war going on and everyone was getting muddy from getting pulled in. Then we had a staff verses the winning team of the students. Some how the staff pulled through for the victory. When we got finished there, it was on to the pickle eating contest. I never knew how fast a pickle could be eaten until today. Next was the disk toss. They set some new camp records today. We finished up there and went on to shuccin corn with their feet. It was crazy to see these students go head to head at this. it was my favorite event on the hill. After that it was the shockput toss. Let me tell you there are some strong kids here.

           Lunch was next. Then it was on to the wet and wild games. Today we had synchrosnized swimming. They put together some really good stuff. It was fun to watch and i think that the students really enjoyed it. Then it was on to free time. Down at the lake, it was so amazing to see the face of the students and how much fun they were having. there was football going on in the water, the blob, the slide and the zipline. While all this was going on during the day, there was students going up on the high ropes course. From what i have heard the students say, they have had a blast up there.

         Well after all this, we went up and got ready for supper. After supper we went to the chapel to learn a little more on the Ressurection of Jesus. When we finshed up that it was on to the chapel service. The praise band was amazing tonight. They chose the right song to perpare our hearts for what God wanted us to hear. When all was said and done there it was on to the big ball vollyball playoffs. It was the greatest thing to see how much these students enjoyed it, and how much they got to laugh at each other. Next we move back over to the side of the chapel and watched a movie. The Crisco Kid. It was a great movie and a great time for us to enjoy each other for the last night. 

          It was a great day all in all. It is going to be hard to say goodbye tomorrow, even though i know you are ready to see your students too. I hope they had as much fun as i did this week, and i also hope that they learned a lot about God. I hope that you can see a change when they return to you and that they stay on fire for God.
