In the middle of 2.0

Date July 9, 2008

Today started like most during 2.0.  Yoga and fishing at 6:30, 7 everyone else woke up, and we all met for a breakfast of pancakes at 8.  Our quiet time at the lake was great, tiem alone with God is the only was to start the day.  Our morning service was led by the Outrdoors small group and the did an amamazing job.  We learned alot about what it is to truly follow God.

Time with our small groups was super fun and a great time to gert to know each other, as always.  Then we went up to ther Hill to play some games.  We played football, Wiffle Ball, and Ultimate Frisbee.  then a great lunch of chicken sandwiches.  At the lake we had our Regatta.  WE raced boats that we made with our small groups, it was a very fun experience.  Lke time was of course a blast, and dinner was very filling.  We had our service at the Chapel by the lake.  The topic was Saul joining the church and Barnabus putting himself on the line so the church would let Saul join.  It was very powerful when we found the groups we most related to.  After that  we went up to the main chapel to have the Lords supper Longridge 2.0 style.  WE are hitting the sack ready for another great day tomorrow!!!!

    Camp Longridge Staff,

Thank you for all you have done this week. I have seen my students and others grow this week and you will never know how much that means to me. I thank you. I pray that God will continue to work through each one of you and you all keep God in the center of your life. As we have our last nightly worship service I pray that God’s will be done. I thank you making sure that I have been well taking care of and making us leaders aprat of what you all are doing here at Camp. I thank the kitchen staff for the Cold drinks and the Hot food!! I pray that this camp will continue to work with the young students and leading them to God. I have never been on this side of line to sit back and watch and that has been a blessing for me. Thank you again and I am just an email away if you ever need anything. Thank you to all.

    God Bless,
    Timmy Tyner
