Wonderous Wednesday

Though today may have started out like any other Wednesday, this week’s campers made it completely amazing! We began by having breakfast and continuing to get to know this weeks set of terrific children!  After breakfast, we went and had quiet time with our cabins, so we as cabin leaders would get to share a piece our faith with our cabin kids.  Then we all headed in for another round of Praise gathering with our amazing praise band which then prepared us for our team sessions led by the leaders of some of the churches here this week.  Then we as teams, went on the low ropes course, and worked on our team building.  We also got to watch the church leaders do two of the elements–they climbed our wall(not an easy task) and they threw a 100 lbs. tire over a telephone pole, than was very much so above their heads.  Then we headed to lunch and our typical but outstanding lake time after Peanut Patch Olympics of course.  Then after Chapel, we  had our talent show, which Red Team triumphed again.  Then after saying good night to our parents and guests who came to see their children, we all headed back to our cabins to get a goodnight’s rest to prepare for tomorrow’s shaving cream fight!!
