Thursday Craziness…

it was another great thursday here at camp. the morning started off with a bang with an amazing breakfast. after quiet time with their cabin leader is was off to the final sonrise morning worship gathering with the praise band. following that the teams headed to their team rooms where they spent their last time in their team Bible studies. the hill activites were the olympics where the teams competed in the sack race, foot race, three legged race and the football throw. after finishing the olympics up on the hill the teams headed to the lake where they competed in the canoe sink. after the team competition the teams headed to the dining hall for another awesome lunch. following lunch the kids changed for lake time and headed off to peanut patch championships while the anticipation built for the annual shaving cream fight on thursday afternoons. the kids, staff, and leaders had a blast up on the hill covering each other in shaving cream and heading to the lake to wash it all off and have some fun at the lake for the final time for the week. after the final lake time everyone headed off to get changed, had some dinner then it was off to the dining hall to enjoy an amazing dinner of baked chicken, wild rice, baked potato and boston cream pie. following dinner it was off to chapel for the evening where the praise team did an amazing job leading out in worship with Mr. Frank coming up afterwards to speak about the roadsigns of life. the team activity for the night was the big ball volleyball championship where the red team took the win for the week. the night ended with ice cream in the dining hall before the kids headed back to the cabin to spend the last night in their cabins with their friends and staffers. it was an awesome day here at camp and definately one to remember…
