chaos, talent show, and the eagle song: oh my!

hey hey everybody! we have come to the end of our day before the last day of camp! In other words, it’s wednesday night. But I’m guessing you want to hear all about our wonderful wednesdy, so i’ll tell you. We woke up and had a great breakfast and then broke up into teams for quiet time and then headed to the hill. This was a pretty exciting part of our day because it was time for none other than CHAOS!! Our teams were very excited and loud, which kept the game going strong. If you look at the pictures, you’ll see us staff got pretty messy thanks to our teams. Then we went and got ready for some praise and worship and then it was time for team bible study. Our canteen break was after that and that’s always a fun time because everyone gets a snack and plays some volleyball. Not to mention buying some great stuff from our gift shop! After this, it was back for team bible study . Everyone was getting pretty hungry so we went in for lunch. After this we went ahead and got ready for some peanut patch, which everyone is pretty excited about since we have playoffs tomorrow. I have to say everyone that has come to tether ball have got some SERIOUS skills. Then it was lake time, and everyone had a good time on all the new things. Finally it was time for dinner, and everyone was getting excited about having their family here! We had chapel after this, and then the TALENT SHOW. i’ll tell you what, Camp Longridge has some talent, and some strong guys! Teams did their skits, and the different cabins did their skits and they were all so funny! But now it’s that time again; everyone’s getting ready for bed and getting some rest for tomorrow!
Sorry this was so long, but we have so much fun here at longridge, its hard to make it short!

My family and I greatly enjoyed being able to visit our daughter and all of the other campers tonight. When Angelica left home this week I couldn’t sleep because the was the first time she has been away from home, but now that I’ve been able to see her and her surrounding I am now at ease, you all are doing a great job with all of the kids, and i say this with confidence which is pretty diffucult for me becasue I trust no one with my baby girl. You guys and gals keep up the great work and have fun with all the children for you all will always remain in their hearts and memories. By the way enjoyd all the skits tonight we had a wonderful time and a few great laughs.
