Bring the Rain!

Okay peoples, Wednesday morning started out very early like usual, at seven o’ clock at breakfast. Most staff was asleep at breakfast or falling asleep but breakfast was good…great job Cecil! This morning the staff got right on the dreaded pinestraw again but we tackled it and finally got it all cleaned up and the grounds look clean and great. After pinestaw was accomplished the staff split up into several teams and tackled the beginning of what we like to call “The List.” Several people split up and began repainting team tables and benches and anything else that needed a touch up. The putt putt course is coming along great and it was almost finished today also. Some ropes course facilitators climbed up and and did some practicing and run through trials to make sure of safety and that operations of the ropes course are correct, guys did a great job on that.

After all the hard work this morning the staff stopped for some lunch that was great and delicious..thanks again Cecil!! The guys worked hard on some irrigation and plumbing. The guys worked hard running pipe from the bath house down to the lake so that we could have some awsome and useful spickets at the lake. Guys continued to fill in ditches and finished that job up. Around three o’clock the staff took a little breather just in time before the bottom fell out and the rain came down and has rained nonstop into the night. The staff then went to supper which Cecil did a great job on once again. After dinner the staff joined Mr. Frank for Bible study where we talked about how to affectively study the Bible and tools to use to help aid in studying God’s word. The staff was then informed of their team colors and and teammates for the summer! The staff went and prepared for team cheers and skit activities! The day ended with praise team practice and staff bonding time in the staff lounge! Great work guys!
