A Fantastic Monday…

It has been a great start to an amazing week! The day started off when the campers arrived here at camp and found out where they would be living and what team they would be on this week! After that they headed to their cabins where they changed and headed to the lake for the swim test and then it was FREE TIME at the lake! Everyone had a blast hanging out by the lake whether it was playing in the chapel game area or going down the slide. Team activities was a hit when everyone got together with their team for the first time and played balloon toss and had chalk walk. Team time was a lot of fun and gave everyone a chance to meet some new friends. After eating dinner it was off to chapel where Mr. Frank did a great job talking about salvation and how simple it is for us! He used several illustrations from an open door, car, apple and many other objects the kids could relate to. There were a number of kids who made decisions for Christ tonight which was amazing!! After that it was off to canteen break and then it was BIG BALL VOLLEYBALL time! There were some tight games that were played but it was a great time had by all! As for what is happening now the kids are all showered and sleeping in their cabins! So this tired staffer is also heading to bed also!
