Monday was a very exciting day seeing all the new kids arrive here at Camp Longridge! Plenty of games were played and names to remember with smiling faces. This morning started out kinda rainy though, but that didn’t hinder all of the fun that was to be had today. After breakfast, quiet time, and an awesome worship time, led by the praise band, the kids were ready for some fun on the hill. All the teams cheered their loudest but over all it was the BLUE to win the spirit flag. Other than playing wacky ball on the hill some kids were ready to get really messy with…jello, pudding, applesause, and flour. Also the new staff girls had plenty of fun when it was their turn to play. The kids all were VERY excited to start the Peanut Patch games. Even the rain didn’t stop the kids from having fun in the lake or hanging out after chapel at the canteen. Tonight was movie night so the kids had a great time watching “Home run for Rusty”. To be honest everyone really enjoyed the movie. So as the kids are all getting into their beds and praying for God to send some sun, we all still thank him for the rain!
