WOW! What a BLAST this week was. This was our last youth week here at Camp Longridge for the summer. God certainly was here at camp this week while we got to see him move and change lives forever. We had an incredible week with youth giving their hearts to Christ and getting saved. We also had youth who feel they have been called into full-time ministry. It was great being in the middle of God’s purpose for the week while watching his Will unfold.

A highlight of the week was of course the incredible talent show that was put on by staff and campers on Wednesday night. There were some very talented kids here with the ability to dance, sing, act and YES even RAP! A GREAT BIG CONGRATULATIONS to the Red Team for winning the talent show…and all the thanks goes to the very creative bunch of youth that was on the Red Team.

The campers had a blast playing all the crazy games during team activity time while watching their staffers either dress and act like a chicken, or put on pajamas that had been soaked in flour, water, baby oil, syrup…and yes the list goes on! Of course, we all had a great time while playing our big softball game on Thursday. It was a bit scary at first, because the staff had some competition…but of course the staff pulled through and won the game! We cant forget our awesome volleyball games that were played on Monday and Thursday with the Blue team Dominating. The Blue Team did an incredible job this week with games, excitement and cheering…therefore winning first place for the overall winner of the week.

This was without a doubt an incredible week. We all made commitments, made wonderful memories and friendships that we shall carry with us always!
