For over 30 years, Camp Longridge has been dedicated to providing a space in which campers can encounter the amazing of love of our God and in the power o
f that love grow formative relationships with other campers, church leaders and Longridge staff. In its 9th year, the Kids Winter Blast embodies this mission through sharing the incredible meaning of Christmas through worship, sermon, play and teambuilding each December.
BONFIRE – WORSHIP – ACTIVITIES
We offer two weekends for campers ages 8-12 that run Friday evening through Sunday morning. Chapel services led by our dedicated college staff and sermons offered by Southern Baptist Evangelist and Camp Director Frank Shivers present campers with the true meaning of Christmas and invite them to consider how the incarnation, death and resurrection of Christ can make an impact on their lives.
RELEVANT MESSAGES – AWESOME STAFF – SAFE AND AFFORDABLE
Trained college staff give their weekends to continue sharing this message in the cabin each night and lead the campers in activities and games that live into the ethic of love and grace that the story of Christmas offers to this world. On Friday evening, the staff safely host a bonfire complete with marshmellow roast that is always a highlight of the winter weekend! All meals and activities are included for the price of $80!
